An Australia cruise introduces passengers to the scenic beauty of the land Down Under. Explore Australia's sophisticated cities, visit wildlife parks or take an excursion to the Great Barrier Reef for snorkeling, scuba diving or sailing.
Some Australia cruises also make calls in Asia. Each year, there are a few long cruises to Australia from ports on the US mainland, such as New York or Los Angeles.
If you fly from North America to Australia to begin your cruise, you will cross the International Date Line and lose a day. Furthermore, your flight will take nearly an entire day. This requires that you leave your hometown for your port of departure at least two days in advance of your Australian cruise. However, we suggest that you leave three or four days before your cruise to allow time to rest and get oriented before boarding the ship. You might consider a pre-cruise hotel package.
